How new icons are added
IconDrop Assets pulls from the upstream Simple Icons project, a meticulously maintained open-source archive of brand SVGs curated by a volunteer community. When Simple Icons ships a new release, our editors review every new asset, assign it to the right IconDrop Assets categories, write a short description tuned for product UI work, and push it live. Most releases add a handful of new brand marks.
If there is an icon you wish existed and don't see in the archive, the Simple Icons project accepts proposals from the public. Send us a note via the contact page and we will help shepherd the request upstream so other designers benefit too.
