Privacy policy
IconDrop is built to be useful without ever asking who you are.
What we collect
IconDrop does not require you to create an account, log in, or provide an email address to browse and download icons. We collect basic, anonymised analytics about page views and downloads — what icon was downloaded, what category page was visited — so we can prioritise which icons to add next and which categories deserve more curation. None of this data is tied to a personal identifier.
Cookies
IconDrop sets at most one functional cookie to remember your last viewed category between sessions. We do not use third-party tracking cookies for advertising. If you prefer not to receive even functional cookies, your browser's privacy settings will block them with no impact on the site's functionality.
Advertising
Some pages on IconDrop carry display advertising via third-party ad networks. The ad slots are clearly labelled as advertisements. The ad networks may set their own cookies subject to their own privacy policies. If you would prefer an ad-free experience, most modern browsers and several free extensions will block these network calls without affecting the rest of the site.
Third parties
Icon previews are served as PNG files from public CDN endpoints. When your browser loads an icon preview, the CDN provider can see your IP address and the URL of the icon you are viewing. This is required for the previews to load. We do not share any analytics data with third parties beyond the limited information described above.
Your rights
If you live in a jurisdiction with data-protection laws — for example the European Union, the United Kingdom, California, or Brazil — and you would like to exercise any of the rights granted to you by those laws, please reach out via the contact page. We will respond within the time frame your local law requires.
